QSC offers a comprehensive assortment of loudspeakers suitable for a wide variety of applications. From small format ceiling, surface or pendant-mount install loudspeakers to large concert line arrays, all are developed with the QSC design philosophies to achieve the ideal power response of the system. To further enhance loudspeaker performance, obtaining the optimal voicing and protection is easily achieved by selecting the model-specific DSP preset contained within the Q-SYS and processing amplifier libraries. These optimal tunings are then automatically set, saving you valuable setup time while protecting your investments.
QSC loudspeakers are developed utilizing two fundamental design philosophies, Intrinsic Correction and Directivity Matched Transition® (DMT).
An advanced and proprietary voicing algorithm which spatially averages more than a thousand measurements to achieve the ideal power response and phase correlation of the system. Protection filters are included to prevent excess of the systems mechanical and thermal limitations. This highly refined loudspeaker voicing is built into all powered loudspeaker systems. Passive loudspeakers may also obtain Intrinsic Correction via model specific presets within our Q-SYS and processing amplifiers.
Directivity Matched Transition® (DMT)
A loudspeaker design philosophy which matches the coverage of the HF waveguide to the natural conical behavior of the woofer at the crossover point. The result is a smooth and balanced response across the coverage pattern for better sounding audio within REAL ROOMS.
