Costa Mesa, CA (November 14, 2014) - QSC is pleased to announce its Systems’ Roadshow will be making stops across the US, including dates in Atlanta, Dallas, Washington D.C, New York and Chicago, offering participants the opportunity to see and hear the company’s latest technologies and meet QSC personnel. Gigging with TouchMix and K Family - Bob Bonnen
I'm mostly a solo performer, sometimes a duo or trio. Vocals, acoustic guitar, and harmonica playing at upscale resorts, private parties and corporate events. I've been a professional musician with performing as my sole source of income since 1989, and do from 3-6 gigs a week. I regularly do indoor or outdoor events with 20 - 250 people so I need a flexible sound system for different environments. I do my own setup and run my own sound. Currently I'm using QSC TouchMix-16 with two KW122 speakers and one K10 speaker. I may use any combination of speakers depending on the gig. The K10 is small, lightweight and powerful with a very clean sound. It is ideal for portability, small gigs, and even outside work with the threat of weather which can turn quickly here in Florida. Introducing Erin & The Project, an original music duo combining soul, R&B, pop, funk and jazz influences. All E & the P songs feature powerhouse female vocals (comparative to Adele and Joss Stone) and melodic grooves that leave you in the afterglow. They are a full-time touring act, and big fans of QSC. Paul and Erin Ezekiel have been entertaining audiences around the US since 2008. QSC at Norwegian Film Fest
Since 1973, the Norwegian International Film Festival has been held annually in Haugesund, Norway. It runs for 10 days in August, during which attendees have the opportunity to view over 70 films from 24 countries. In the cinema world, the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund is considered "The Nordic Cannes". Most of the films are screened at Edda Kino, which has five theatres. QSC Cinema products are installed in four of the venues, including the DCP 100 and DCP 300 digital cinema processors and DCS loudspeakers. The largest room, Edda 1, which accommodates 529 people, is where the major premieres are screened. QSC Promotes Barry Ferrell
QSC Audio Products, LLC., is proud to announce the promotion of Barry Ferrell to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Barry Ferrell began his career at the company in 1990 as an Applications Engineer and was the first technical hire at the company in the sales and marketing department. In 2009, Barry assumed the leadership role of the Cinema Group at QSC, and was promoted to Vice President of Cinema in October 2012. Under Barry's leadership, QSC has become a leader in the global cinema market.
