The loudspeaker shall be a direct-radiating subwoofer system of a surface-mount design, with an effective frequency range of 30 to 135 Hz. It shall have a single 12-inch transducer with a 2.5-inch voice coil. The enclosure shall be vented, with ports optimized to reduce turbulence. The enclosure shall exceed IEC60529 IP-54 ratings for dust and splash resistance and shall feature ABS construction, sealed input panel cover, and powder-coated aluminum grille. The loudspeaker color shall be RAL 9011 black.
The loudspeaker shall have a broad band sensitivity of 90 dB (2.83 V at 1 m). Its power rating (IEC60268-1 signal for 2 hours) shall be 300 watts. It shall include a yoke mount constructed of powder-coated steel, and the enclosure shall also have M10 attachment points suitable for suspension or flying. Electrical connection shall be through a 4-pole detachable Euroblock. Its nominal impedance shall be 8 ohms. The loudspeaker shall weigh 13.2 kg (29 pounds) and its dimensions shall be 594 × 354 × 323 mm (23.4 ×13.9 × 12.7 inches).
