AcousticDesign Ceiling Mount Series AcousticDesign AD-CI52ST The ceiling mount 2-way co-axial system shall incorporate a 5.25 inch low frequency transducer with a 1.0 inch voice coil, and a 1.0 inch titanium dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. The tweeter shall be mounted slightly off-center relative to the woofer in order to reduce destructive interference. The co-axial system’s low frequency driver shall be loaded into a shallow, ported, 70 Hz tuned enclosure. The co-axial system shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 63 Hz to 20.0 kHz ±6 dB, measured on axis with appropriate signal processing; sensitivity of 87.5 dB SPL in half space at 1 meter with an input of 2.83V; continuous output of 103.0 dB SPL; peak output of 109.0 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter; power handling of 40 watts for 8 hours with an IEC noise signal; recommended amplifier power of 80 watts; nominal impedance of 8 ohms. The co-axial system shall have conical coverage of 100 degrees between -6 dB points. The loudspeaker shall have a switchable low-distortion, wide-bandwidth laminated core transformer with taps for 30, 15, 7.5 & 3.8 watts at 70V and 30, 15, 7.5 & 3.8 watts at 100V. The co-axial system shall be switchable between 8 Ohm and constant-voltage operation. The loudspeaker shall have a steel enclosure with an injection molded high-impact polystyrene baffle. It shall have a white paintable finish. Input connectors shall be parallel wired 4-pin Euro terminals in a fire protective sub-chamber. The co-axial system shall have a rails and brackets for ceiling tile installation, as well as a seismic tab for secondary support. The front of the co-axial system shall be protected by a heavy duty powder coated steel grill. The co-axial system's enclosure shall be 12.63 in (32.09 cm) high, 12.63 in (32.09 cm) wide and 3.75 in (9.53 cm) deep. The loudspeaker shall weigh no more than 8.0 lb (3.6 kg). The loudspeaker shall be suited for use in air handling spaces per UL2043 and UL1480. The ceiling mount 2-way co-axial system shall be the QSC Audio Products AD-CI52ST.
