The network soundbar shall be a two-way, low profile sound bar design. The woofer shall use a 3.5-inch paper cone full-range transducer. The 0.75-inch silk dome tweeter shall be sensitivity matched to the woofer. The network soundbar shall have frequency range of 110 Hz – 20kHz. Maximum SPL output at 1 meter with PoE+ (802.3at) shall be 93 dB continuous and 107 dB peak. It shall have broad-band sensitivity of 88 dB ( 1W at 1 m) and conical coverage (-6 dB) of 150° (horizontal) 160° (vertical) between 500 Hz and 5 kHz. The enclosure shall be 3.97” (101 mm) high, 20.4” (518 mm) wide, and 2.87” (73 mm) deep. The loudspeaker shall have a net weight of no more than 3.86 lb (1.75 kg). The network soundbar shall support mounting in either horizontal or vertical directions and include a quick release wall mounting bracket to support quick installation and servicing of the loudspeaker and wiring connections. Optional rubber feet may be used to mount the network soundbar directly on a shelf, table or credenza. The network soundbar shall include a programmable RGB LED light bar, located on the front of the speaker and compatible with the Q-SYS Designer Software Call Sync component for mute status synchronization with UC platforms and other Q-SYS collaboration devices. The network soundbar shall include an ID button for identifying the device within Q-SYS Designer Software and a reset button for restoring the device to factory settings, located on the rear of the speaker. The network soundbar network connection shall be made using a single CAT-5e or better Ethernet cable connection via an 8P8C, RJ-45 connector. The network soundbar shall be powered via PoE Type 1 Class 3 or PoE+ Type 2 Class 4, include an integrated amplifier with active output limiting, and shall receive Q-LAN formatted network audio. The network loudspeaker shall include internal Intrinsic Correction for optimal speaker voicing when paired with any Q-SYS Core processor. The network soundbar shall include open-circuit and short-circuit detection with the ability to monitor these fault states remotely via the network connection. The loudspeaker shall be configurable via Q-SYS Designer Software. The network soundbar shall be the QSC NL-SB42.
