The video camera shall have an RJ45 jack for connecting to a 100 Mbps or gigabit Ethernet network. The camera shall use the network for transmitting video to one or more bridging endpoints without the need for video or USB extenders. The camera shall also use the network for control and monitoring communications. The camera shall have a base for permanent mounting to a horizontal surface, such as a ceiling (with a ceiling mount accessory), shelf, tabletop, etc., and it shall have the ability to pan, tilt, and optically zoom. The range of panoramic rotation shall be ±170 degrees, and the range of tilt shall be -30 to +90 degrees. The range of optical zoom shall be 20×, from 60.7 degrees to 3.36 degrees horizontal. The aperture shall range from F1.8 at widest zoom to F2.8 at narrowest. The pan, tilt and zoom mechanisms shall be motorized and remotely controlled via the network. The speed of panoramic rotation shall range from 1.7 to 100 degrees per second. The tilt motion shall range from 1.7 to 69.9 degrees per second. The camera shall have a 16:9 aspect ratio and shall be capable of streaming video to the network at 1080p, 720p, 576p, 360p, 270p, or 180p, all at 25 or 30 frames per second (fps). It shall also have an HDMI and a 3G-SDI output, and they shall be capable of producing video at 1080p (at 60, 50, 30, or 25 fps), 1080i (60 or 50 fps), or 720p (60, 50, 30, or 25 fps). The camera shall have a 1/2.7” low-noise CMOS image sensor and shall have both 2D and 3D noise reduction. It shall have a signal-to-noise ratio of 55 dB or better. The camera shall integrate natively with the QSC Q-SYS platform, including all software and processes, which include discovery, configurability, and bridging. The camera shall be powered by a 12-volt external supply or as a Power over Ethernet (802.3af PoE) device and shall consume no more than 12 watts. It shall be usable in indoor temperatures ranging from -10° C to 40° C. The camera shall weigh no more than 3 pounds (1.35 kg) and shall not exceed the dimensions 6.7 in (169 mm) height, 5.6 in (142 mm) width, and 6.5 in (164 mm) depth. The video camera shall be the QSC PTZ 20x60.
