The peripheral device shall serve as a bridge for audio and video over a Q-SYS Q-LAN network. It shall have a USB Type B port that emulates webcam video, Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) speakerphone audio, and multi-channel soundcard audio, using standard class (UVC and UAC) drivers. It shall have plug-and-play capability to make it suitable for bring-your-own-device (BYOD) applications. The peripheral device shall support these formats and video resolutions: MJPEG—1080p, 720p, and 576p; YUY2—360p, 270p, and 180p. It shall also support a video aspect ratio of 16:9 and refresh rates of 30 or 25 frames per second (fps). The peripheral device shall have two RJ45 LAN ports, one of which shall have Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) capability. It shall have two Eurostyle pluggable connectors: a three-pin for RS232 communication and a two-pin for an external 12-volt DC power supply. The peripheral device shall be powered as either a PoE Enabled Device (IEEE 802.3af) or with an external 12 V DC power supply with at least 1 A capacity. It shall have an LED power indicator as well as a Q-SYS ID button and LED. It shall feature a recessed reset button for restoring the device to factory settings. The peripheral device shall weigh 500 g (1.1 lb) and shall be housed in a steel chassis that is 25 mm (1 in) high, 85 mm (3.35 in) wide, and 183 mm (7.2 in) long. It shall have two reversible steel angle brackets to allow secure, permanent mounting on top of a horizontal surface, under a table or desk, or on a wall. The peripheral device shall be the QSC Q-SYS I/O-USB Bridge.
