What type of video compression codec is Q-SYS Shift™?

  • Q-SYS Shift™ is a video compression technology developed by QSC to distribute high quality, low latency video over a standard gigabit Ethernet network. However, high-bandwidth switching backplanes and non-blocking switches can help to increase the number of network streams that can be utilized on the same network. Is there a way to verify that my network is properly configured for Q-SYS NV-32-H traffic during the installation or commissioning phase of a project?

  • As of Q-SYS Designer Software v8.4, users can use the network test feature to send a full-bandwidth data load across their network from Encoder(s) to Decoder(s) to validate network configuration.

Can a single 4K60 4:4:4 stream from one NV-32-H network video endpoint (set as encoder) to multiple/many NV-32-H network video endpionts (set as decoders)?
