Egham Training Centre is home to an award-winning training curriculum for the UK and Ireland.

To ensure you get the most out of our innovative and powerful Q-SYS Ecosystem, we've created in person training modules located in our state-of-the-art training centre, and live remote training that you can do from home.

Each student has a dedicated station ready to be controlled via remote desktop with full access to all Q-SYS hardware.

 

 

We currently offer the following training courses:

Q-SYS Architect Training is designed for AV consultants, end-users, pre-sales engineers and those who design or specify Q-SYS systems. Attendees will learn everything they need to specify their next Q-SYS installation, with no programming or commissioning knowledge required.
Q-SYS Architect gives a system-level view of the Q-SYS Ecosystem, including how it can enhance the next project. We will cover all aspects of the Q-SYS portfolio and most importantly show how to move from project scope and create a seamless design.
Our presenter is using a green screen for this training which allows you to discuss, evaluate and reflect your curriculum.

Successful completion of the course entitles to 2 units of AVIXA CTS program credits!

Q-SYS Architect for Cinema was designed for cinema exhibitors, consultants, pre-sales engineers and those who design or specify auditoriums and multi-use environments.

You will learn everything you need to specify your next Q-SYS Cinema installation, from a single screen to multiplex, adapting the Q-SYS platform to conferencing, your lobby or restaurant thru the whole complex with no programming or commissioning knowledge required.

Online course covering Q-SYS programming and Hardware and Software overviews.

This course is designed to get trainees qualified to build a networked audio system using the Q-SYS Ecosystem. This online training is broken up into several modules, each with a number of short videos followed by an assessment. At the end of the training session, you will design an audio system to a spec provided by our examiners.

Successful completion of the course entitles students to 4 units of AVIXA CTS program credits.

Book Q-SYS Level 1 Online Training

Advanced Q-SYS programming course for those who have completed Level 1. This is a two-day remote class course presented from​ the Weybridge Training Centre.

Two-day course taught by Q-SYS trainers

One-on-one instruction from a QSC Application Engineer and trainers who specialize in a wide variety of installations.

Hands-on experience

Training takes place in our brand new, purpose-built training facility in Weybridge. Each student works on a full Q-SYS workstation with the latest Q-SYS hardware and software.

Advanced application-based curriculum

Topics include: A/V Bridging, Public Address, Teleconferencing Suite (Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Softphone, Proper Gain Staging) Third-Party Control, Advanced User Control Design, GPIO Integration, Networking Troubleshooting, Core-to-Core Control, and more.

16 hours of instruction and the successful completion of the final design will entitle students to 8 units of AVIXA CTS program credits.

Students should arrive at 09:00 for refreshments. Training startsat 09:30 and finishes at 16:30. Lunch will be provided. If you have any special dietary restrictions please let us know.

Book Q-SYS Level 2 Training

Online course for those who want to learn Control programming or for existing programmers who wish to apply their knowledge to the Q-SYS Ecosystem.

This introduction to Q-SYS Control programming covers everything from Q-SYS plugins, custom control components and the new Block Controller (visual programming tool), all the way through the basics of Lua scripting (including debug printing, control tree, variables, functions, and flow control).

This is the perfect course for people looking to learn control programming, or for those existing programming experts who want to apply this knowledge specifically to the Q-SYS Ecosystem.

Successful completion of the course entitles students to 2.5 units of AVIXA CTS program credits.

Book Q-SYS Control 101 Online Training

One and a half day, remote course for those who have completed Control 101. This session teaches two-way 3rd party device control with real hardware accessed remotely from​​ the Weybridge Training Centre.

Building upon lessons learned in Q-SYS Control Training 101, this course allows students to use custom controls, Lua scripting, and the Block Controller to connect to real third-party devices and manipulate their return strings. Each student will work on dedicated Q-SYS Core processors and control peripherals, as well as custom-made emulators designed specifically for this class.

Successful completion of the course entitles students to 4 units of AVIXA CTS program credits.

Book Q-SYS Control 201 Training

Our Microsoft Teams Rooms training is designed for consultants, end-users, pre-sales engineers and those who design or specify systems that need to work seamlessly within Microsoft Teams Rooms environments.

You will learn how to expand your Teams Rooms installations into complex spaces using the Q-SYS Ecosystem for Audio, Video & Control. We will cover all the key principles of creating an integrated system, use the latest Q-SYS innovations to allow for custom user controls and an easy commissioning and management process. We will show you how to move from the project scope to create a seamless design.
