The network device shall have 24 bit, 48 kHz digital-to-analog converters and analog-to-digital converters. The device shall store eight design configurations, with snapshot recall of configurations, processing block-level or parameter value settings. The device shall operate with fixed latency. Minimum latency from the analog inputs through the full DSP chain to the analog outputs shall be 2.354 milliseconds, regardless of the configuration employed. Designs shall include any of the following DSP functions: matrix mixers of up to 24 inputs by 24 outputs; gain sharing automixers; signal routers of up to 24 inputs by 24 outputs; up to 24 single-channel gain controls; graphic equalizers; high-pass, low-pass, all-pass, shelf, parametric, parametric shelf, Butterworth high and low-pass, Linkwitz-Riley high and low-pass, Bessel- Thomson high and low-pass filters; crossovers including Linkwitz-Riley, Butterworth, Bessel-Thomson in-phase, Bessel-Thomson symmetrical, 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way general purpose adjustable crossovers; compressors, peak limiters, automatic gain controls, gates, and other dynamics processors; up to 8 channels of duckers with adjustable fade-in and –out times, and priority mix; pink noise, white noise and sine wave generators; and signal delays. The network device shall allow the creation and storage of user-definable custom signal processing blocks, and shall allow these macros to be assigned password protection.
The front panel shall contain these features: a blue Power indicator; a red Diagnostic indicator; yellow LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for QSControl status; a red/green/yellow tri-state LED Signal Presence indicator; a 2x16 character blacklit LCD data display with up/down buttons and a scroll wheel. A removable security panel shall be provided for covering and preventing unauthorized access to the controls, when needed. The rear panel shall contain these features: green LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for QSControl status; yellow LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for CobraNet status.
The rear panel of the device shall contain the following connectors: Analog program inputs shall be via 8 phoenix/euro 3-pin detachable terminal blocks. Inputs shall be electrically balanced, with input impedance of 6.8 kilohms balanced and 13.6 kilohms unbalanced, and a common mode rejection of at least 54 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Terminal pins shall be wired as follows: 1:+ / 2:- / 3:chassis ground. Input sensitivities shall be variable from 0.0009 to 15.46Vrms = -62.2 to +26 dBu = -64.4 to +23.7 dBV. EIN (equivalent input noise) shall be less than 125 dBu referenced to 150 Ohms and 60 dB.
The rear panel shall contain the following control input and output connectors: 2 discrete floating electromechanical relay switch outputs, with a nominal capacity of 1A 30 VDC, on 3-pin phoenix/euro style detachable terminal blocks with pins configured as 1:NC / 2:NO / 3:COM; 4 discrete single-ended, TTL-compatible logic outputs on 2-pin phoenix/euro style detachable terminal blocks configured as 1:+(signal) / 2:-(chassis ground); 6 discrete single-ended, ground-referenced inputs for TTL logic, voltage control or passive resistance, with a normal operating range of 0 – 5 V, on 2-pin phoenix/euro style detachable terminal blocks configured as 1:+(signal) / 2:-(chassis ground). The rear panel shall also contain a female DB9 RS-232 port for setup and diagnostic functions and a Neutrik EtherCon® ruggedized RJ45 data connector for QSControl via Ethernet.
The network device shall be capable of meeting the following performance criteria: AES-17 -60 dB dynamic range of 108 dB unweighted and 111 dB A weighted; THD + N of less than 0.009% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 0 to 30 dB gain; inter-channel crosstalk of less than 75 dB; intra-channel crosstalk of less than 85 dB; frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ± 0.5 dB.
The network device chassis shall occupy one rack space.
The network device shall be the QSC Audio Products DSP 322ua.
