The network device shall have 24 bit, 48 kHz digital-to-analog converters and analog-to-digital converters. The device shall store eight design configurations. The device shall operate with fixed latency. Minimum latency from the analog inputs through the full DSP signal path to the analog outputs shall be 2.354 milliseconds, regardless of the configuration employed. Designs shall include any of the following DSP functions: matrix mixers of up to 24 inputs by 24 outputs; gain sharing automixers; signal routers of up to 24 inputs by 24 outputs; up to 24 single-channel gain controls; graphic equalizers; high-pass, low-pass, all-pass, shelf, parametric, parametric shelf, Butterworth high and low-pass, Linkwitz-Riley high and low-pass, Bessel- Thomson high and low-pass filters; crossovers including Linkwitz-Riley, Butterworth, Bessel-Thomson in-phase, Bessel-Thomson symmetrical, 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way general purpose adjustable crossovers; compressors, peak limiters, automatic gain controls, gates, and other dynamics processors; up to 8 channels of duckers with adjustable fade-in and –out times, and priority mix; pink noise, white noise and sine wave generators; and signal delays. The network device shall allow the creation and storage of user-definable custom signal processing blocks, and shall allow these macros to be assigned password protection.

The front panel shall contain these features: a blue Power indicator; a red Diagnostic indicator; yellow LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for QSControl status; 4 red/gree/yellow DataPort Status LED indicators; a 2x16 character blacklit LCD data display with up/down buttons and a scroll wheel. A removable security panel shall be provided for covering and preventing unauthorized access to the controls, when needed. The rear panel shall contain these features: green LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for QSControl status.

The rear panel of the device shall contain the following connectors: Analog program inputs shall be via phoenix/euro style 3-pin detachable terminal blocks. Inputs shall be electrically balanced, with input impedance of 10.0 kilohms balanced or unbalanced and a common mode rejection of at least 54 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Terminal pins shall be wired as follows: 1:+ / 2:- / 3:chassis ground. Input sensitivities shall be variable, as follows: 1.5 Vrms / 5.7 dBu / 3.5 dBV; 3.9 Vrms / 11.8 dBu / 9.5 dBV; 9 Vrms / 21.3 dBu / 19.1 dBV; and 18 Vmrs / 27.3dBu / 25.1 dBV. Program outputs shall be in 4 groups of two channels each, and each group shall be available on an HD-15 DataPort. The maximum qualified length of cable connection shall be 328 feet (100 m) when using QSC DP cable or 6 feet (1.83 m) when using other cable.

Control room foldback monitoring shall be available via a phoenix/euro style 5-pin detachable terminal block. Terminal pins shall be wired as follows: 1:+(input) / 2:-(input) / 3:chassis ground / 4:-(output) / 5:+(output). The monitor signal shall be software selectable from 8 internal input, 8 internal output and 8 pre-amplifier, post-amplifier or amplifier tap points. The monitoring function shall have unity gain with the network device powered off, and a relay bypass. Maximum input level shall be +21 dBu; nominal impedance shall be 10 kilohms; common mode rejection ratio shall be at least 54 dB. The sum of the monitor input and the signal from the internal monitor tap points shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz +/- 0.5 dB; distortion of no more than 0.05% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at +4 dBu output; noise floor at least 90 dB below nominal output; nominal output imedpance of 100 ohms; minimum output load of 600 ohms. Monitor output level shall be controllable in 0.5 dB steps from 0 dB (unity gain) to -95.5 dB.

The network device shall be capable of meeting the following performance criteria: AES-17 -60 dB dynamic range of 110 dB unweighted and 113 dB A weighted; THD + N of less than 0.009% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 2 dB below clipping; inter-channel crosstalk of less than 75 dB; intra-channel crosstalk of less than 85 dB; frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ± 0.5 dB.

The network device chassis shall occupy one rack space. Depth from mounting surface to tips of rear supports shall be 14in. (35.6 cm). The weight of the network device shall not exceed 21 lb. (9.5 kg).

The network device shall have 24 bit, 48 kHz digital-to-analog converters and analog-to-digital converters. The device shall store eight design configurations. The device shall operate with fixed latency. Minimum latency from the digital input through full DSP chain to analog outputs shall be 2.167 milliseconds and maximum latency from the digital input through the full DSP chain, over CobraNet to a second networked device, through that device's full DSP chain, to the analog outputs shall be 7.896 milliseconds, regardless of the configuration employed. Designs shall include any of the following DSP functions: matrix mixers of up to 24 inputs by 24 outputs; gain sharing automixers; signal routers of up to 24 inputs by 24 outputs; up to 24 single-channel gain controls; graphic equalizers; high-pass, low-pass, all-pass, shelf, parametric, parametric shelf, Butterworth high and low-pass, Linkwitz-Riley high and low-pass, Bessel- Thomson high and low-pass filters; crossovers including Linkwitz-Riley, Butterworth, Bessel-Thomson in-phase, Bessel-Thomson symmetrical, 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way general purpose adjustable crossovers; compressors, peak limiters, automatic gain controls, gates, and other dynamics processors; up to 8 channels of duckers with adjustable fade-in and –out times, and priority mix; pink noise, white noise and sine wave generators; and signal delays. The network device shall allow the creation and storage of user-definable custom signal processing blocks, and shall allow these macros to be assigned password protection.

The front panel shall contain these features: a blue Power indicator; a red Diagnostic indicator; yellow LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for QSControl status; yellow LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for CobraNet status; 4 red/gree/yellow DataPort Status LED indicators; a 2x16 character blacklit LCD data display with up/down buttons and a scroll wheel. A removable security panel shall be provided for covering and preventing unauthorized access to the controls, when needed. The rear panel shall contain these features: green LED Link, Tx and Rx indicators for QSControl status.

The rear panel of the device shall contain the following connectors: 8 channels of AES/EBU 48 kHz digital audio shall be available as inputs in 4 pairs via a 25-pin DB-25 style connector on the rear panel. 16 channels of CobraNet digital audio shall be available as inputs via a Neutrik EtherCon® ruggedized RJ45 data connector on the rear panel. 32 channels of CobraNet digital audio shall be available as outputs via the same Neutrik EtherCon® ruggedized RJ45 data connector on the rear panel. Program outputs shall be in 4 groups of two channels each, and each group shall be available on an HD-15 DataPort. The maximum qualified length of cable connection shall be 328 feet (100 m) when using QSC DP cable or 6 feet (1.83 m) when using other cable.

Control room foldback monitoring shall be available via a phoenix/euro style 5-pin detachable terminal block. Terminal pins shall be wired as follows: 1:+(input) / 2:-(input) / 3:chassis ground / 4:-(output) / 5:+(output). The monitor signal shall be software selectable from 8 internal input, 8 internal output and 8 pre-amplifier, post-amplifier or amplifier tap points. The monitoring function shall have unity gain with the network device powered off, and a relay bypass. Maximum input level shall be +21 dBu; nominal impedance shall be 10 kilohms; common mode rejection ratio shall be at least 54 dB. The sum of the monitor input and the signal from the internal monitor tap points shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz +/- 0.5 dB; distortion of no more than 0.05% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at +4 dBu output; noise floor at least 90 dB below nominal output; nominal output imedpance of 100 ohms; minimum output load of 600 ohms. Monitor output level shall be controllable in 0.5 dB steps from 0 dB (unity gain) to -95.5 dB.

The rear panel shall contain the following control input and output connectors: 2 discrete floating electromechanical relay switch outputs, with a nominal capacity of 1A 30 VDC, on 3-pin phoenix/euro style detachable terminal blocks with pins configured as 1:NC / 2:NO / 3:COM; 4 discrete single-ended, TTL-compatible logic outputs on 2-pin phoenix/euro style detachable terminal blocks configured as 1:+(signal) / 2:-(chassis ground); 6 discrete single-ended, ground-referenced inputs for TTL logic, voltage control or passive resistance, with a normal operating range of 0 – 5 V, on 2-pin phoenix/euro style detachable terminal blocks configured as 1:+(signal) / 2:-(chassis ground). The rear panel shall also contain a female DB9 RS-232 port for setup and diagnostic functions and a Neutrik EtherCon® ruggedized RJ45 data connector for QSControl via Ethernet.

The network device shall be capable of meeting the following performance criteria: AES-17 -60 dB dynamic range of 112 dB unweighted and 115 dB A weighted; THD + N of less than 0.009% from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 2 dB below clipping; inter-channel crosstalk of less than 75 dB; intra-channel crosstalk of less than 85 dB; frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ± 0.5 dB.

The network device chassis shall occupy one rack space. Depth from mounting surface to tips of rear supports shall be 14in. (35.6 cm). The weight of the network device shall not exceed 21 lb. (9.5 kg).
