The network audio controller shall be compliant with IEEE 802.3af-2003, and shall obtain power from any Power Over Ethernet (PoE) compliant switch or PoE injector. The network audio controller's wiring shall consist of a single CAT-5 cable terminating to an RJ45 connector.
The network audio controller shall include a 3.5 inch (8.9 cm) backlit color LCD graphics display with 320 x 240 pixels and 16 bit resolution. The front panel shall also include five navigation / control switches, arranged in left/right, up/down configuration, and a rotary encoder. The network audio controller shall enable the creation of customized graphical user interfaces using QSControl.net™ version 3.1 or higher. When multiple network audio controllers are part of a single system, changes made from any network audio controller shall be visible on the displays of all connected network audio controllers.
The network audio controller shall have an ABS enclosure with a UV protection additive, and shall be available in black or white. The network audio controller shall include holes conforming to the hole patterns of both Imperial and metric dimensioned electrical boxes, facilitating wall mounting. The enclosure shall be 5.2 in. (13.2) cm high x 5.0 in. (12.7) cm wide x 1.6 in. (4.0) cm deep.
The network audio controller shall be the QSC Audio Products NAC-100.
